A good option for cheap, basic accommodation in the centre of London. I’ve been here many times before and Passfield Hall and Roseberry Hall are probably the better LSE options. Located only a 5 minute walk from Euston Station in a quiet area, you really can’t go wrong. Breakfast is very good (Roseberry Hall slightly better) and there is a nice garden area that is nice to relax in at the end of the day. This is something that Carr Saunders Hall lacks. Overall, a good, cheap place to stay when in London.

Fantastic position very close to Euston and plenty of bus / tube options but also a quiet up market area with several peaceful green spaces minutes away . The breakfast is awesome and there’s a super relaxed atmosphere . Showers clean and hot . The staff were all kind , helpful and cheerful . I locked myself out of my room in the middle of the night and the man on night reception was dealing with this while simultaneously being incredibly calm , dignified and professional in managing a rather unpleasant person. It feels safe . 4 stars because my room was cold ( though I was given an extra blanket )needs double glazing ! and the fridges in the kitchen were very smelly and too full ( probably very difficult to manage this ) I have returned on several occasions and will continue to do so

A train strike meant an overnight stay in London before catching a train to Euston. Paid £51 and it was great value. Only a single bed and basic rooms, but there was a desk with lamp, toiletries, towels provided and a sink in the room. There is a communal kitchen and shower and toilet facilities on each floor too. The breakfast was as good as any hotel I have stayed in with full english, cereal, fruit, yogurt, chess and cold meats all available plus a hot drink machine and juices. If you are looking for somewhere on a budget I would recommend you to stay here

Given the location and the price (£55 for a night that centrally in London feels almost unprecedented these days) it feels harsh not to give a full 5 stars but I do feel I probably drew the short straw with my room allocation (G20). Right opposite the luggage storage room, very near to the regularly and closing door between reception and the corridor and most depressingly on the other side of the wall to my beds headboard was a hand dryer for the communal toilets...holy moly, it sounded like a plane was taking off when someone inexplicably decided to use it in the middle of the night. That aside though I was really impressed. The room was plenty spacious enough for the night, the bed very comfortable (surprisingly so, I remember my uni dorm bed being horrendous) and a really good breakfast buffet. Definitely somewhere I'd look at staying again.

The hall is very well organised and their quiet time rule after 11 works well. Breakfast was good. Don't get room 221. It is right next to an elevator which you hear very clearly. Take sleeping ear plugs. Two out of three showers didn't work on floor l was on. Like all hotels in London, check in is after 3 but they have baggage room. Apart from that, it is central, convenient, reasonably priced, WiFi is ok and near Euston tube and rail. Recommended.
